Brought together by a spur-of-the-moment invitation to play a house show in the fall of 2021, Birch, Evan, Evan, and Isaac have been groovin’ and buzzin’ their way into the local music scene. The name “BEE! the Band” was born when nobody had a better idea of how to combine the first letters of their names, yet the icon of “BEE! the Band” was forged during countless hours of practice and many breaks during practice to play Mario Kart. 

While never taking themselves too seriously, they pride themselves on their ability to make enjoyable and soul-enriching music that draws inspiration from many, yet replicates none. Each member finding his roots in different styles and disciplines, all of the boys bring an individuality that results in the music that you (hopefully) love. With songwriting that makes you question the very ground upon which you tread combined with a groove that’ll make you want to take your shoes off and boogie, buzz rock is sure to perk up your ears while you sip on your favorite beverage.

Drawing particularly from improvisation-based jam bands, BEE! loves to interact on stage in a way that guarantees you’ll never see a song played the same way two times, regardless of how many times you watch them live. The joy that they experience while making music with each other is one that they’re working hard to spread throughout the Midwest, the world, and maybe even someday…space.
